EU's announcement on the expiration of anti-dumping measures for seamless steel pipe to China
On March 12, 2020, the European Commission announced that the anti-dumping measures for seamless pipes and tubes of iron or steel originating or imported from China will expire on December 9, 2020. Enterprises of EU member states may submit a written application for sunset review of anti-dumping in this case to the European Commission within three months from the date of promulgation of this proclamation to the expiration date mentioned above.
On July 9, 2008, the European Union filed an anti-dumping investigation on seamless steel pipe originated from China. On October 6, 2009, the EU made a positive final decision on this case. On October 3, 2014, at the application of the Defense Committee of the seamless steel tubes industry of the European Union (esta), the European Union filed an anti-dumping sunset review investigation on seamless steel tubes originating in China. On December 8, 2015, the EU made a final anti-dumping sunset review on the seamless steel pipe originated in China.
